The leadership of the Croatian Royal Council sent its expressions of condolences and support to HRM Margrethe II, Queen of Denmark, the Danish Royal family and the entire Danish People, on the occasion of the passing of HRH Henrik, Danish Prince Consort. Prince Henrik, full name Henri Marie Jean de Laborde de Monpezat was born on 11th June 1934 in an old French noble family. Throughout his professional life he showed himself as a skilled diplomat, in 1967 he married Crown Princess Margrethe and thus entered the Danish royal family. With the death of King Frederick IX and the enthronement of his daughter on the throne as Queen Margaret II, he officially become the Danish Prince Consort. He had two children with Queen Margrethe II, Crown Prince Friderik (1968) and Prince Joachim (1969). His obligations to the Danish People, the Kingdom and the Queen, during his lifetime and service as the Prince Consort, he performed with great respect and quality. On the 13th February 2018 in the late hours of the night the Danish Prince Consort passed away . He will be remembered for his good deeds and virtue as a true noble man.
