Breaking news! Croatian Crown Prince and Heir HRH Karlo Habsburško-Lotarinški (Karl von Habsburg) is placed in a quarantine after stricken by the Coronavirus.
After the outbreak of the Cronavirus in Italy and Central Europe, the epidemic has affected HRH Crown Prince Karlo, who is now in a house quarantine in Lower Austria, as it is reported by the Kronene Zeitong (Auch Kaiserenkel Karl mit Coronavirus infiziert), from a telephone interview of Christoph Matz with HRH Karlo. In that interview HRH Karlo stated that he is not afraid and is in constant contact with his family and friends via the telephone, while he continues his work and obligations working on his computer. HRH Karlo Habsburško-Lotarinški is the grandson of Blessed King Karlo IV and son of the late decorated Croatian patriot and fighter for Croatian independence and international recognition Otto von Habsburg. HRH Karlo after a short test which confirmed he was positive on the Coronavirus has decided to remain in a house quarantine.
This epidemic has been recorded in a large number of World countries. The current number of infected is 114,549, while the number of deaths is 4,028. In our immediate area the largest epidemic outbreak is in Italy with 4,028 affected and 463 dead. While in Austria the number of affected is 157 and in Croatia 13.
On this occasion the Croatian Royal Council, NGO, send its support and prayers to HRH Karlo, as well as reminds all our members and supporters to hold on to recommended protection measures for this epidemic.
