Archduke Ferdinand Zvonimir about his testimony of faith and Medjugorje at the Vienna Friedensgebet

An unusual event in Vienna, Our Lady appeared to the Međugorje seer Maria during the Rosary, she mentioned that more young people are loving Our Lady, and took Archduke Ferdinand Zvonimir as an example.

On September 27, 2023, during the 16th Prayer Meeting for Peace (Friedensgebet) in the Cathedral Church of St. Stephen in Vienna, Croatian Archduke Ferdinand Zvonimir participated in the prayers and attended the Holy Mass, as well as testified about his experience with Medjugorje and his faith in Christ and Our Lady. The Holy Mass was presided over by Bishop emeritus Klaus Küng, while the prayers and songs were in Croatian and German. Medjugorje seer Marija Pavlović - Lunetti spoke in particular about witnessing faith.

During the prayer, HRH Ferdinand Zvonimir was sitting right next to the seer Mary, to whom Our Lady appeared while she leading the prayer of the rosary, looking above them, which is why the prayer stopped for a few minutes. After the prayer, many spoke about their witness of faith, as did Archduke Ferdinand Zvonimir about his Medjugorje experience. During the speech of the Mary Pavlović - Lunetti, said:

"I see many children (young people) who fell in love with Our Lady, for example Ferdinand (Zvonimir) who gave his testimony. In this desert of humanity, the Mother of God calls us to life. Medjugorje has become a source of freshness of Christianity, not because of the freshness of the air or the place, but because the Mother of God is present there..."

Archduke Ferdinand Zvonimir also testified about his testimony of faith, who described his meeting with Medjugorje last year. A place he didn't think too much about or knew, where an ordinary trip that was supposed to end with typical fun and entertainment for young people for his 25th birthday in some overseas country, ended with Ferdinand Zvonimir going with Father George to Medjugorje . Although father George left him because of his obligations on the first day, he spent his birthday and the following five days alone in faith and contemplation. During his testimony, he said:

"on the first day I already overpast the place (Međugorje) and the Way of the Cross, on the second day it became boring, I didn't feel or see anything... on the third day I already visited everything that could be seen... on the fourth day I was already thinking about taking the taxi and leaving, and I went to the regular morning mass where a priest whom I had not seen before preached... He approached me and began to tell a story about a man... Then I was flooded with emotions, even though I was in a bad mood those days, alone in in an unknown place, it simply touched my soul. It was exactly that feeling that the prayer of this rosary restored to me."

HRH Ferdinand Zvonimir is also stands with supporting, volunteering and working in Mary's meals, the importance of which he spoke about during his testimony. Interestingly, during the prayers and singing, despite his difficulty of speaking the Croatian language, he sang Hvala Kriste (Hail Christ) in our language. Archduke Ferdinand Zvonimir, a first-class athlete, winner of the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans, is the great-grandson of the last legitimate Croatian king and blessed of the Church, Karlo IV. He is very present and active in humanitarian work, duties in many dynastic and Catholic Orders and organisations.
